Academic & Fee Policies

Student responsibilities and university procedures

Academic Performance Notes

Students are expected to maintain satisfactory academic performance throughout their studies. Grades are calculated based on course assessments, assignments, quizzes, examinations, practical work, projects, and approved academic activities.

A student who receives an F grade may be required to repeat the course, resit the examination, or follow the decision issued by the relevant faculty or academic office.

Assessment and Examination Policy

Sahal University may use assignments, quizzes, midterm examinations, final examinations, practical work, presentations, projects, research tasks, and online assessments for E-Campus students.

Students must follow examination rules, academic integrity policies, and submission deadlines. Cheating, plagiarism, impersonation, or academic misconduct may lead to disciplinary action.

Fee Policy

Students are required to pay tuition and related fees according to the approved fee structure of their programme, campus, and learning mode. Fees may vary by campus, faculty, programme, degree or diploma level, regular or E-Campus mode, scholarship approval, or installment agreement.

Non-Refundable Fee Policy

Registration, admission, application, tuition, semester, and service fees paid to Sahal University are generally non-refundable unless the university officially approves an exception in writing.

A student who withdraws, becomes inactive, changes their mind, fails to attend classes, or fails to use the learning portal after registration may not claim a refund of fees already paid.

Installment and Payment Clearance Policy

Where installment payment is approved, students must follow the agreed payment schedule. Failure to complete payments on time may affect course access, examination eligibility, hall ticket issuance, result publication, semester registration, graduation, or transcript processing.

Scholarship and Discount Policy

Sahal University may offer scholarships, discounts, or special fee reductions to eligible students based on approved criteria. Scholarships and discounts are not automatic and must be officially approved and recorded by the relevant university office.
